A pillar of strength that we all heavily rely on, Veenu Gupta has mastered the art of getting things organized like no one else!!  She tops the Administration activities at the Foundation for the last six years with tremendous ease and flow. A mother of two – Veenu believes that Education is what it takes to build a strong generation that can both dream and achieve.

With over 10 years of experience in the Social care sector, she has chosen to work voluntarily to help the less privileged. Extremely active, she is ‘The Favourite’ of the children. Veenu when armed with her smile can make things happen!!

Madhulika Saxena


Madhulika Saxena

Madhulika heads the curriculum and academic activities at all the centres. A post graduate in History from Rajasthan University, she has over two decades of Teaching experience. Her expertise as a pre-primary and class teacher adds to the flavour of learning as fun but in a disciplined way.

Madhulika is part of the core team at Sanshil and has been associated with the foundation for the past six years.

Prerna Gupta

A Chartered Accountant, Prerna Gupta keeps the Foundation’s financial needs in control. Besides ensuring that all compliances are met, she has been one of the key people from the very inception of the Foundation. Her creative genius in designing of new products for our global customers is unparalleled.

The Foundation has the support of her untiring belief in the work we do and uplifting the less privileged.

Mamta Karwal


Mamta Karwal

If there is one person in the team who lives every moment of philanthropy, it is Mamta Karwal. A Delhi University graduate and a diploma holder in fashion designing from IWP Delhi, she has been associated with Sanshil Foundation and Project Bagiya from its beginning since 2007. An integral part of the founding team, she has always been closely working for the empowerment of under privileged women and kids.

She is the Head-Project of Bagiya and also the Cultural Coordinator of South City 2 as part of the society RWA team. In complete control of administration and process control, the Foundation thrives with her never-say-die attitude.

Shilpa Sonal – Founder Director


Shilpa Sonal

Shilpa is a Marketing & Advertising professional with over twenty years of experience. She forayed into social work after working with the families of Indian soldiers in Ladakh while her Special Forces husband was posted there. In the past she has led the Advertising and Public Relations function of a leading Indian firm in the Switchgear Industry.

Shilpa heads the Sanshil Foundation where she has been actively involved in charitable and social work aimed towards uplift of the underprivileged children by schooling them at the Sanshil centre – PROJECT BAGIYA along with vocational livelihood activities for adults. She has pioneered the model where ‘green energy’ and ecologically sustainable practices are a source of livelihood for the economically weaker sections. Her main focus is on creating literacy programs and vocational training, with a new perspective, for children and adults from  those at the bottom  of the pyramid.

She was honoured with the World Women Leadership Award in February 2016.

On board of two global companies as CSR Consultant, she is also actively involved in ensuring the Anti Sexual Harassment Policy at work place is compliant with.

Shilpa holds a post graduate in Mass Communications & PR from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. She is Secretary – Spic Macay Gurgaon  – A Voluntary organisation that is dedicated to promotion of Indian Art, Music and Culture amongst the youth.

She is also co-author of the book ‘Globalization and Voices from Indian Practitioners’ – ‘The Non-Profit world in Modern times’.
